Describes how to configure an Oracle Solaris system to provide FIPS 140-2 Level 1 cryptography to kernel-level and user-level consumers of cryptography, for example, Kerberos, Secure Shell, and the Apache HTTP Server. It describes how to enable the providers and the consumers, and includes an example of enabling Secure Shell and the Apache HTTP Server to run in FIPS 140-2 mode.
