KDS Connection Icons

The following connection icons appear at the bottom right corner of the screen and indicates whether the KDS Display is properly connected to the KDS Controller.

Icon Icon Name Description

This figure shows the Connected icon, which is a green check mark over two blue screen monitors.

Connected

The KDS Display is connected to the KDS Controller.

This figure shows the Connection Waiting icon, which is an hourglass with a red background over two blue screen monitors.

Connection Waiting

The KDS Display is waiting for a connection to the KDS Controller.

This figure shows the Disconnected icon, which is a red X mark over two blue screen monitors.

Disconnected

The KDS Display is not connected to the KDS Controller.

This figure shows the Connected to Backup icon, which is a green check mark over two orange screen monitors.

Connected to Backup

The KDS Display connected to the backup KDS Controller.

This figure shows the Disconnected icon, which is a red X mark over two orange screen monitors.

Disconnected from Backup

The KDS Display is not connected to the backup KDS Controller.
