Choosing an Installation Method
There are two ways to use the installer script to
install the Oracle Developer Studio 12.6 software packages on Oracle Solaris 10
and Linux platforms:
|
|
Interactive graphical mode
|
The graphical installer is an installation wizard that displays
pages for a series of installation steps. On each page, you can
quit, go back to the previous step, or go on to the next step. You
can choose the installation directory and which components of the
Oracle Developer Studio 12.6 software you want to install. Or you can run
the installer to install only the runtime libraries.
|
Non-interactive command-line mode
|
The non-interactive command-line mode of the package installer
installs all components, or specified components, of the
Oracle Developer Studio 12.6 software, or only the runtime libraries,
silently.
