What is an Oracle Sales Compensation Salesperson?

In Oracle Sales Compensation, a salesperson is any entity receiving sales-related incentive compensation including direct salespeople, managers, external agents, distributors, VARs, and customers.

For example, many companies have different types of sales channels. As shown in Figure 5 - 1, Global Computers pays incentive compensation to a direct sales force of employees, yet also pays external agents, value-added resellers (VARs), distributors, and many other types of salespeople for sales of Global products.
