Selecting a Specific Element Type

The basic philosophy for selecting an element type for a specific compensation plan is as follows:

To compensate sales representatives... Select Element Type...
       
On the percentage of revenue quota achieved Revenue Quota (see page )
On the amount of revenue achieved with no quota defined Revenue Non Quota (see page )
On the percentage of unit quota achieved Unit Quota (see page )
On the number of of units sold with no quota defined Unit Non Quota (see page )
By providing periodical draws or advances Draw
By providing manual bonuses Manual
On percentage discount given on a sale only Discount (see page )
On margin percentage achieved Margin (see page )
