Defining Split and Non-Split Commissions

The Split check box lets you have the option of splitting or not splitting the commission on a sale across the rate tier that the transaction spans. The Split check box only applies for the following conditions:

The Element Type field is set to:

Revenue Quota or Unit Quota

Revenue Non Quota or Unit Non Quota, with Accumulate On

With the Payment Type field set to Applied Transaction Amount Percentage, and The Apply Txn field set to Individually.

Note: For all other plan element definitions, the Split check box is not applicable.

Assume the following transaction.

The Commission Percentage Rate Table lists the rates.

Note: The Commission Percentage Rate Table does not appear in the Oracle sales Compensation application. It is used to describe how the split and non-split commission rates are obtained.
