Download Hierarchy

This procedure takes data defined in the Dimension Hierarchy form within Oracle Sales Compensation and transfers the data into the Hierarchy API table. The Hierarchy API table may then be exported and imported from one implementation of Oracle Sales Compensation into another where it may then be read by the upload program.

You can only download one dimension hierarchy at a time. The concurrent manager procedure, DOWNLOAD HIERARCHY, for downloading hierarchies will ask the user to provide the name of the dimension, the name of the hierarchy and the start and end periods over which this hierarchy is active. You are also asked to provide the name of the unique column. If the unique column name is not provided, it will default to the dimension value field.
