Up and Running in Two Steps
Lex, Amissa, and Talionis decided to move everything off their NT server onto a single iFS instance.

The MIS person expected to have to use a complicated database import-export utility. Instead, moving the files was a simple Windows drag-and-drop operation from the old file server to iFS.

The next step was to disconnect the old file server from the network. By assigning the name of the old NT server to the new iFS server, it looked as if nothing had changed when people accessed the server through Network Neighborhood.
