Name Summary Folder dialog

Use this dialog to enter a name and description for a summary folder. For summary folders based on summary tables or materialized views, you can also configure when to build the summary folder. For example, you might want to build a summary folder immediately.

Here you can name a summary folder and schedule its build times.

Provide a name and description for this summary folder

Name

Use this field to enter a name for the summary folder. Discoverer Administrator creates a default name for you that you can use.

Description

(Optional) Use this field to enter additional information about the summary folder.

When would you like to build this summary folder?

Build immediately

Use the Build immediately radio button if you have smaller summary tables, or if you want to build the summary folder immediately.

Build at (Date, Time)

Use the Build at radio button if you have larger summary tables that are best built at off-peak hours. Enter the time and date you want to build the summary folder.

For summary folders based on external summary tables

Here you can name the summary folder and provide a description.
