Design Page

The Oracle Portal design page is an entry point into the Oracle Portal design environment. This page provides quick access to all the Oracle Portal tools you need, and only those tools appropriate to your Oracle Portal role. The tools appear as portlets on the page, and are grouped into related tasks. For example, all the tools for building pages, content areas, and applications are grouped together, as are all the database administration tools. The appearance of the design page reflects your Oracle Portal role—you only see the database administration tools if you are a database administrator.
