Each display contains a layout, on which the display's graphical objects are drawn. The layout consists of one or more layers.
A layer contains individual visual elements such as charts, graphics and text. At runtime, you can hide, show, and rearrange layers to present different graphical views to the user.
All other components of the application, such as data queries and PL/SQL constructs, are also part of the display.
