The third tier consists of network
nodes, and the databases, listeners,
and other Oracle services installed on
those nodes. An Intelligent Agent is
installed on each node to execute
jobs and monitor events sent by the
Management Server. Intelligent Agents function independently of the database or services they support, as well as being independent of the Management Server and Console clients. |
