Understanding the Object Definition Sequence


When configuring Siebel applications it is useful to think of configuration tasks in terms of the Siebel object model hierarchy shown in Figure 6. Sometimes you work from the bottom up—data objects first, then business objects, and then user interface objects. Other times you work in one layer only, modifying objects as needed. Figure 7 shows the general sequence of tasks.
