Preparing a Simple Product Base for a Complex Product

This procedure prepares you for complex product creation, and assumes the simple products that make up the complex product are already defined. For more information, see Creating Simple Products for Hospitality Events.

This task is a step in Creating Complex Products for Hospitality Events.

To prepare a simple product base for a complex product in Hospitality

1. Navigate to the Administration - Product screen > Products list.
2. In the Products list, query for the required product.
3. Drill down on the Product Name hyperlink.
4. Click the Customizable Product view tab.
5. In the Versions form, click the check box in the Locked Flag field to lock the product.

   The product is now locked so that others cannot edit it.
