NOTE: Siebel objects (business components, applets, and so on.) cannot be accessed from DOM events.
Usually in scripting you can call routines in the General section from anywhere in the object. However you cannot call routines written in the General section from the DOM events. To associate a script with the control_OnClick event (high interactivity mode only), use the Applet_PreInvokeMethod event associated with the applet. For additional information and example, read Invoking Custom Methods with MiniButtons.
