HTIM MDF Period Ending Process Workflow

This workflow runs at the end of a period. It transfers credits and debits to a new snapshot record for the next period. The workflow appears in Figure 30.

This workflow performs the following steps:

1. The workflow looks at the current period.
2. The workflow verifies that the period has ended and that a subsequent period is available.
   • If the period has not ended and/or there is no subsequent period available, the workflow ends.
   • If the period has ended and the subsequent period is available, the workflow moves to the next step.

All credits which currently exist in this period are voided. A debit entry is created for the next snapshot period as needed, the next snapshot is created, and the workflow ends.
