Specifying the Locale for Your UNIX Operating System
To successfully run Siebel Business Applications on UNIX, you have to configure the appropriate locales on your operating system for the language you will run the applications in. In some cases, you may need to install additional content on your system in order to support the locale. For LANG or LC_ALL settings on different UNIX platforms for supported languages or locales, see Table 4. NOTE: The setting of the LANG environment variable does not affect database connections for Application Object Manager components for Siebel applications.
