Enabling a Siebel Server Component Definition
This topic describes the procedure for enabling a custom Siebel Server component definition. For further information on component definitions, see About Siebel Server Component Definitions. This topic is a task in the Process for Creating a Custom Siebel Server Component. To enable a Siebel Server component definition
- From the application-level menu, choose Navigation > Site Map > Administration - Server Configuration.
- Click the Component Definitions view tab.
- In the Component Definitions list, select the component definition of interest.
- Click the Enable button.
The component definition state field changes to Active.
- If the component definition is based on a batch-mode component, synchronize the component. For information on this procedure, see Synchronizing Components on a Siebel Enterprise Server.
- For the change to take effect, stop and restart the Siebel Server System Service.
