Starting Siebel Email Response Server Tasks

Depending on your business requirements for processing email, you need to start the following server components:

• If you are processing email in real-time mode, you only need to start Communications Inbound Receiver. For more information on real-time email processing, see Processing Email in Real-Time. For information on how to enable real-time email processing, see Enabling Real-Time Email Processing.
• If you are processing email in nonreal-time mode, you need to start both Communications Inbound Receiver and Communications Inbound Processor. For more information on nonreal-time email processing, see Processing Email in Nonreal-Time. For information on how to enable nonreal-time email processing, see Enabling Nonreal-Time Email Processing.
