About Siebel Contact On Demand and Siebel Communications Server


You use the Telephony@Work communication driver (alias TaW) to integrate your Siebel Communication Server with Siebel Contact On Demand. After you connect Siebel Communication Server to the Siebel Contact On Demand application using the TaW communications driver, agents can make and receive voice calls using the Siebel Communications Server's communications toolbar.

Before you proceed, note the following prerequisites:

  • If your Siebel Communications Server connects to the server hosting the Siebel Contact On Demand application through a proxy server, the network you use must support the Web Proxy Autodiscovery Protocol (WPAD).
  • The TaW communications driver can only be used on the Microsoft Windows platform.
