Creating the Data Source

You create the data source in Oracle Enterprise Manager. This is a step in Process of Configuring the OJMS Resource Adapter on the OC4J Container.

To create the data source

1. On the JDBC Resources page in Oracle Enterprise Manager, under Data Sources, click Create.
2. On the Create Data Source - Application & Type page, accept the defaults and click Continue.
3. On the Create Data Source - Managed Data Source page, enter the following information:

   Parameter	Value
   Name	TestJmsDS
   JNDI Location	jdbc/TestJmsDS
   Connection Pool	TestJmsConn

4. Click Finish.

The new data source is displayed on the JDBC Resources page.
