Configuring Logging Levels for Direct Server Synchronization
To set the logging level, you need to perform the following two tasks:
You set the logging level to a value between 1 and 5 as shown in Table 21.

To configure Siebel Server logging levels
- Log into Server Manager from a (
m:\siebel\bin\w32ud ) prompt.
- Run the following:
change evtloglvl HandheldSyncLog=[LogLevel] for comp [OMName], where [LogLevel] = an integer between 1 - 5 (5 enables all logging) and [OMName] = the OM name (for example, <ApplicationName>CEObjMgr_enu)
To configure Siebel Server logging levels using the Server Configuration screen
- Navigate to Administration - Server Configuration screen > Servers view > Components view tab.
- In the Component list, query for the appropriate component, such as Handheld Sales CE (ENU).
- In the Events list, search for the event type Handheld Sync Logging.
- Set the value to a number between 1-5 and then save the change.
