Activating Workflows and Reloading Runtime Events for Store-and-Forward Messaging
After the workflows are properly configured, you need to activate them and reload runtime events. To activate workflows and reload runtime events
- Navigate to Administration - Business Process > Workflow Deployment.
The Repository Workflow Processes screen appears.
- In the Active Workflow Processes view, query for all the workflow processes beginning with SMQ. If any of the workflows described in Optional Step: Configuring Store-and-Forward Messaging Workflows appear, delete them.
- In the Repository Workflow Processes screen, query for all the workflow processes beginning with SMQ.
The workflows described in Optional Step: Configuring Store-and-Forward Messaging Workflows are returned by this query.
- Activate the Store-and-Forward Messaging workflows one by one by clicking the Activate button.
The workflow "SMQ Outbound Activities to Primary Owned By" is triggered by the runtime events.
- Reload the runtime events by navigating to Administration - Runtime Events > Events, and select Reload Runtime Events from the command menu.
- After workflows are activated, associate the SMQ Process User Queue inbound workflow with the application.
- Navigate to Administration - Store-and-Forward > Message List.
- Select the application for which you have enabled Store-and-Forward Messaging.
For example, Siebel Service for CE, which is the Siebel Service Handheld application.
- In the application record's Inbound Workflow Name field, select SMQ Process User Queue.
