Verifying Network Connectivity

You can use the Sync application to verify the network connectivity to Siebel CRM without starting synchronization.

To verify network connectivity

1. Open the Sync application by clicking the Sync icon in the system tray.
2. Choose Siebel CRM by clicking the data source field in the Data Source Information section, and selecting an entry from the list.
3. Click Test Server Authentication.

   A successful authentication returns a value for the Session Id field in the Sync application.
