Using Responsibilities to Route Data

Some routing models include a predefined responsibility. To control the data that Siebel Remote routes to a client, you can use the responsibility in conjunction with the routing model.

To use responsibilities to route data

1. Log in to the Siebel Server with administrator privileges.

   For more information, see Logging In to the Siebel Server as an Administrator.

2. Navigate to the Administration - Application screen, and then the Responsibilities view.
3. In the Responsibilities list, query the Responsibility field for the name of the routing model, such as Sales Manager Routing Model.
4. Examine the Views list.
5. Use the responsibility in conjunction with the routing model to control the data that Siebel Remote routes to a client.
