In Siebel 7.5.3, a number of approval business processes were included in the Sample Database. These were intended for use with Employee Self-Service. If you have activated these workflows, you must manually upgrade the approval steps in them. Also, if you have designed approval business processes for use with Employee Self-Service, you must manually upgrade the approval steps to convert them to business service operations. The manual upgrade converts the approval steps from a standard workflow operation to a business process operation. This enables the workflow to use new Universal Inbox Business Service functionality. Both Siebel Marketing and Siebel ERM use Universal Inbox. Application administrators can see all approval tasks across all applications. To manually upgrade approval business process workflows
