Activating Join Indices for Teradata Databases

For Teradata databases, the preconfigured tasks for creating and dropping join indices are inactive. You need to activate these tasks in order to run ETLs.

To activate join indices for Teradata databases

1. In the DAC, navigate to the Task Definitions tab in the Design view.
2. Query for all tasks beginning with Teradata.
3. Remove the check from the Inactive check box for all the tasks.
4. Click Save.
