Regional Enterprise Server and MSMQ Client

You configure the Regional Enterprise Server and MSMQ Client with the following components.

• One of the following servers:
  • Microsoft Windows NT Server Enterprise Edition
  • Windows 2000 Server
  • Windows 2000 Advanced Server
• The MSMQ Client
• As many MSMQ Queues as needed
• The relevant ODBC driver
• Siebel Server
• Siebel Gateway Name Server
• Siebel HTML Connected Client

NOTE:  The MSMQ Server can reside on either machine. This functionality is independent of the underlying database platform. You can use any of the supported database platforms, including IBM DB2, DB2 UDB for z/OS and OS/390, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.
