System Preferences for the Cycle Counting Engine
The Field Service engines have system preferences (see Table 102) that determine the behavior of each engine. These system preferences are stored in the table S_SYS_PREF. The BusComp is System Preferences. These are the columns of main interest:
- SYS_PREF_CD. Name of the System Preference.
- VAL. Value of the System Preference.
Changing the values of these preferences changes the default behavior of the engine. NOTE: To register changes to System Preferences, restart the Field Service server.

Only the inventory levels (buckets) whose Availability and Status match the values defined by the above two parameters are included in the cycle counting process.
