Setting the Siebel_Root Parameter

After the Siebel Reports Server is installed, change the Siebel_Root parameter in the Reports Server configuration file for the Windows operating system.

To change the Siebel_Root parameter in rptsrvr.cfg

1. Navigate to the Reports Server directory, such as C:\sea_thirdparty_770\Actuate7\Server.
2. Open rptsrvr.cfg in a text editor.
3. By default, the Siebel_Root parameter is set to the full path, such as:

   Siebel_Root = C:\sea_thirdparty_770\Actuate7\rptsrvr

4. Delete \rptsrvr from the end of the path, so that the parameter reads, for example:

   Siebel_Root = C:\sea_thirdparty_770\Actuate7

5. Save the changes and close the file.

Restart the Actuate iServer for the changes to take effect.
