Uninstalling the Siebel Reports Server

Review the following procedure when uninstalling the Siebel Reports Server software.

NOTE:  Do not use Add or Remove Programs from the Windows Control Panel to uninstall the Siebel Reports Server. Use the Siebel Uninstaller to uninstall all products making up the Siebel Reports Server, including the Actuate iServer, Management Console, and Active Portal. Using the Siebel Uninstaller insures that all files are removed correctly.

To uninstall the Siebel Reports Server

1. In the Windows Explorer, navigate to sea_thirdparty_7x\_uninst\thirdparty.
2. Double-click uninstaller.exe.

   The Uninstaller displays a progress bar to show the initialization of the Uninstaller.

   The Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for Siebel Reports Server screen appears.

3. To confirm uninstallation, click Next.
4. Select the products from the menu that you want to uninstall and click Next.

   NOTE:  You can choose to uninstall all Reports Server products at the same time, or you can choose to uninstall products individually.

5. The Uninstaller displays the location and the name of each product you selected for uninstallation.
   • If this is correct, click Next.
   • If not correct, click Back and select a different product on the previous screen.

     The Uninstaller displays a message that the Uninstallation Wizard has successfully removed the products in the Siebel Reports Server.

6. Click Finish.
7. If prompted, restart your server.
