Road Map for Upgrading Without a Development Environment
If you are upgrading and do not have a development environment, complete the processes in this road map in the order shown. Upgrading without a development environment means the following are true:
- You are running an uncustomized, out-of-the-box version of Siebel applications.
- You have not used Siebel Tools to create or modify any objects or logical schema definitions in the Siebel Repository.
- You have not modified the physical schema in the Siebel Database.
If your upgrade meets these criteria, complete the following processes in the order shown:

- Preparing for a No-Development-Environment Upgrade.
- Upgrade your production environment. See Process of Upgrading a Production Environment.
