Custom Batches

Custom batches must be created to execute your changes created in Informatica Designer. When creating your custom batches, you should create a custom batch Load_Custom_DW for a full load and a custom batch Refresh_Custom_DW for refresh loads. Add all of the respective custom sessions to these batches.

The custom batches you created should be run after their respective batches in the Siebel_DW_Rep folder have successfully completed. This can be accomplished one of two ways:

  1. You can manually run the custom batches after verifying that their respective batches in Siebel_DW_Rep have successfully been executed.
  2. If you would like to start the customization batch defined in your custom folder upon completion of the standard batches, then you can use the pmcmd utility provided by Informatica to start the custom batches. This process is explained in Optional Customization Procedures.
