Creating Customer Hierarchies
You create customer hierarchies to specify how you want data sorted and organized when data is extracted from the data warehouse.
To create a customer hierarchy
- From the application-level menu, choose View > Site Map > Marketing Administration > Customer Hierarchies.
- In the Customer Hierarchies list and create a new record.
- Type a name and description for the customer hierarchy.
- Select the check box in the Default column if you want it to be the default customer hierarchy.
NOTE: There can only be only one default customer hierarchy at a time.
For data integrity reasons, you cannot delete a customer hierarchy after it is saved.
