Example—Creating a Simple List Report

In this example, you create an opportunity list report. It lists the account name, opportunity name, expected revenue amount, and close date for every visible opportunity record. The resulting report will look like the one shown in Figure 9.

The following tasks are required to create the report:

Create and export a new report object definition (and children) in Siebel Tools.
Create a report design in Actuate.
Add data control and label elements to the design.
Compile and test the report.
