Mapping a Field to a Column in a Party Table
You must do the following:
- Create the required join if it does not exist.
- Create the single-value field.
Creating a Join to a Party Table
- Verify that the relationship is 1:1 or M:1.
- Identify the foreign key column for the desired relationship to the joined table.
- Create, if necessary, a field in the business component to reference the foreign key column.
- Create the join. Assign an appropriate alias property.
- Create the join specification. Use PAR_ROW_ID for the Destination Column.
Creating a Single-Value Field
- Select the appropriate explicit join (Figure 104).
- Select the desired column in the joined table.
- Set the appropriate type.
