Benefits of Using ASIs

Siebel ASIs are prebuilt and can be used immediately. With ASIs, developers and administrators do not need to have comprehensive knowledge of the eBusiness Application Integration (EAI) system to integrate Siebel applications with their own.

ASIs provide a release-independent integration interface and the integration interface to the Siebel application remains unchanged with each upgrade to new releases. ASIs use the standard metadata format, which makes ASIs language-independent, so they return the same value type regardless of language setting.
