How This Guide Is Organized

This guide begins with a chapter that explains the concepts you must understand to use Siebel Anywhere correctly.

The next three chapters concentrate on administrative procedures for creating and distributing upgrade kits.

The following chapter discusses procedures for obtaining upgrade kits and installing them correctly, whether on client machines or Siebel Servers. This chapter also discusses procedures for testing upgrade kits before making them generally available to clients.

The final chapter provides supplementary information for specific types of upgrade kits and other special circumstances in which Siebel Anywhere may be used.

The guide concludes with an appendix that discusses troubleshooting techniques for use with Siebel Anywhere.
