Updating the JRun Classpath

Installing the Siebel eCollaboration server updates the class path for the WebSurfer in JRun. Each time you reinstall JRun, this class path is lost. If you reinstall JRun after installing the eCollaboration server, then you must manually update the JRun class path.

To manually update the JRun classpath

  1. Choose Start > Programs > Jrun 3.0 > JRun Admin Server.
  2. Choose Start > Programs > Jrun 3.0 > JRun Management Console.
  3. The JRun Management Console appears.

  4. Choose Jrun Default Server > Java Settings.
  5. Check Classpath to confirm the following paths exist.
  6. To edit a classpath, drill down on the path name, edit the path, and then click Update.
  7. Click the JRun Default Server icon in the system tray.
  8. The JRun Default Server dialog box appears.

  9. Click Restart to restart the JRun default server.
  10. Log out of the JRun Management Console, and stop the JRun Admin Server.
