Creating Quotes
You begin the quote creation process by adding a new quote record to an account. If you are creating a quote for a group of retail outlets, you would typically add the quote to a headquarters or key account.
To add a quote to an account
- Navigate to the Accounts screen.
- From the Queries drop-down choose All Accounts.
- From the Show drop-down, select the appropriate filter.
- Select the account to which you want to add a quote.
- Click the Quotes view tab.
- In the Quotes list add a new record and complete the necessary fields.
Some of the fields in the Quotes list are described in Table 49.
