Inviting Professionals to MedEd Events


When you have scheduled a MedEd event and have decided what sessions will be offered, you can invite health care professionals to attend.

To invite a contact to a MedEd event

  1. Navigate to the MedEd screen.
  2. From the Show drop-down list, select Invitees.
  3. Tap the Contacts list to select it.
  4. On the toolbar, select the New Record button.
  5. In the new row, complete the fields.
  6. Some of the fields are described in the following table.

    Field
    Comments
    First Name
    Completed based on the last Name selection.
    Last Name
    The contact/invitee. Select from the Pick Contact list.
    Invitee Status
    Indicates whether the invitee has confirmed attendance, is on a wait list, and so on. Pending is the default value.
    Role
    Describes the selected contact's role at the session.
