Creating Bound Measures


Use the following procedure to create bound measures.

To create bound measures

  1. From the application-level menu, choose View > Site Map > Marketing Administration > Measures.
  2. In the All Measures list, create a new record.
  3. Complete the necessary fields.
    1. Type a Name and Description for the measure.
    2. The name field has a maximum length of 50 characters.

    3. In the Type field, choose Bound from the list.
    4. The measure type automatically is set to bound if you are creating a measure from the Bound Measures view. If you are creating a measure from the All Measures list, set the measure type as bound.

    5. Click the Table select button.
    6. In the Pick Tables dialog box, choose a table and click OK.
    7. Click the Field select button.
    8. In the Pick Fields dialog box, choose the field from the table that the measure will reference and click OK.
