Introduction


This guide explains how your Siebel application's Order Management functionality works. The explanation focuses on three key Siebel application modules: Quotes, Sales Orders, and Assets.

This guide is written for Siebel application administrators, developers, consultants, and other members of the configuration team. This guide is not intended for end users. To get the most from this book, readers should have a thorough grounding in Siebel eConfigurator, Siebel ePricer, and Siebel Business Process Manager functionality.

This book will be useful primarily to people whose titles or job descriptions match one of the following:

Call Center Administrators

Persons responsible for setting up and maintaining a call center. Duties include designing and managing Computer Telephony Integration (CTI), SmartScripts, and message broadcasts.

Database Administrators
