Differences in the Partner Portal and Partner Manager
The overview chapter of Siebel Partner Relationship Management Administration Guide describes the screens of the Siebel Partner Portal and the PRM-specific screens of the Siebel Partner Manager. There are a number of differences in the Partner Portal and Partner Manager for Siebel PRM for Finance.
Siebel Partner Portal
In addition to the screens of the Siebel Partner Portal, Siebel PRM for Finance partner portal has the following screens:
- Call Reports. Allows your partners to enter call reports when they meet with customers. You can view these call reports using the Siebel eFinance Partner Manager or Siebel eFinance.
- Households. Allows your partners to view the members associated with a Household and related opportunities and service requests.
To view information entered in the Profile view of the Contacts screen in the Partner Portal, you use several views of the Contacts screen of the Partner Manager or of Siebel eFinance. To view information entered in the Profile view of the Accounts screen, you use several views of the Accounts screen.
Table 2 shows which views you use to view information entered in the contact and partner profiles of the Partner Portal.
Siebel eFinance Partner Manager
The Siebel eFinance Partner Manager has the same functionality as the Siebel eInsurance Partner Manager. For information about this functionality, see Siebel eInsurance Partner Manager.
The Partner Manager can be configured using Siebel Tools to remove screens that are not needed with Siebel PRM for Finance Portal. For more information about Siebel Tools, see Siebel Tools Reference.
