Set each system preference using the guidelines in Table 10.

Table 10.  System Preferences

System Preference	Suggested Entry	Guideline
SecExternalUserAdministration	FALSE	An entry of FALSE allows administration of the directory through the Siebel application.
SecThickClientExtAuthent	FALSE	You set this system preference to TRUE to allow Dedicated Web Clients to use a security adapter.
Security Adapter CRC		Calculate the checksum value for your security adapter DLL as described in Checksum Validation. Enter the calculated value here.
