Final Configuration of CORBA Using VisiBroker
The following topics describe tasks to finalize configuration and running of CORBA using VisiBroker.
Command-Line Syntax
The Siebel CORBA Object Manager for VisiBroker is implemented in the executable
ssomvisi.exe, which is a normal console mode application and is located in theSIEBEL_ROOT\corbaom\bindirectory. The command-line syntax used to invokessomvisiis as follows:
ssomvisi /nobjname/cconfigfile/ddatasource/llanguage[/bbindname[/xcontext] [otherarg...]where:
objnameis the object name assigned to the SiebelAppFactory object.
configfileis the name of the configuration file. This may be a filename (in which case the file must reside in thelanguagesubdirectory of the\BINdirectory) or a full pathname.
datasourceis the name of the data source defined in the configuration file to which the Siebel CORBA Object Manager should connect.
languageis the language code in which the Siebel CORBA Object Manager operates; for example,ENUfor U.S. English.
bindnameis an optional argument that defines the stringified name to bind to the SiebelAppFactory object in the CORBA naming service.
contextis an optional argument that defines the stringified name that defines the CORBA naming service naming-context in which thebindnameappears. This argument and the/xoption are only meaningful when the/boption is also present.
otherargis an optional argument that represents arguments passed directly to the VisiBroker ORB during initialization. Specifically, you may need to specify the-ORBInitparameter when using the CORBA naming service. For more information, see the VisiBroker documentation.
