Data Migration Considerations

In Release 7.x, changes to existing functionality and the structure of Siebel eBusiness Applications have required significant changes to the Siebel Data Model. During the Siebel Database upgrade, data held in Siebel Database tables is moved to accommodate this new table structure. If you are upgrading from Release 6.x, this chapter provides information about how and where this data movement occurs so that you can better plan the upgrade of specific modules.
