Rating a Bidder

You can rate a bidder to whom you have sold an auction item as an auction lister.

To rate a bidder

  1. From the Auctions screen, click the Rate Bidder hyperlink.

    2. The Rate Bidder screen appears.

  2. Click the hyperlink for the auction of the person you want to rate.

    3. The Rating screen appears.

  3. Click New.

    4. The Rating form appears.

  4. In the Comments field, enter your comments about your interaction with the bidder.
  5. Click the icon in the Bidder field.

    6. The Pick Bidder dialog box appears.

    NOTE:  Only the winning bidders for the auction you choose will be displayed.

  6. Click the Select icon next to the bidder you want to rate.

    7. The bidder's ID appears in the Bidder field.

    NOTE:  You can search for a bidder by selecting a search criteria from the Find drop-down list and typing a keyword in the starting with dialog box. Click Go to perform the search.

  7. From the Score drop-down list, select Excellent, Good, or Poor.

    8. NOTE:  Each rating is associated with a numeric value: Excellent is 3.0, Good is 2.0, and Poor is 1.0. These values are used in the overall averages that are computed for each user.

  8. Click Save.

    9. Your rating is added to the Ratings screen.

  9. Click the Auctions tab to return to the Auctions screen.
