Browsing by WSDL service

The service element of a WSDL draws together all other elements. It provides an abstract definition of the interface, which bindings it uses, and which interfaces. Views of a WSDL service are like those of the registry Service type. Many Service records in the registry are compiled directly from WSDL service elements.

To Browse for a WSDL service...

  1. If you are not already in the Services view click the Catalog tab at the top left of the console screen.

  2. Expand the Resources and WSDL nodes by clicking on their expansion icons. This is the box with the plus sign in the center.

  3. Click the service node. This will load the Services view in the central panel.

  4. Click the List all Services link. For most user types a Default view of the Browse WSDL services list will load. Views are identical to those for Services.

To Change the View

Simply select the desired view in the Result view list box. The default view options include Default, Summary and Technical. Other custom views can be added.
