Searching for a WSDL

Finding a WSDL published to the registry allows you to walk through the Services, Endpoints and tModels that represent its contents in UDDI form. You can either search for a WSDL by URI or browse through all the WSDLs published to the registry.

To Search for a WSDL by URI

  1. Select the Search menu tab

  2. Click the WSDL link. The Find WSDL Document group box will appear.

  3. Enter the complete WSDL location (URI) in the edit field and click the Examine this WSDL button.

  4. In the Examine WSDL page that loads, click on a node in the left frame. These nodes represent the branching UDDI entities of Services, Endpoints, and tModels associated with the WSDL.

  5. Once you've selected a node, view the associated UDDI record by clicking on the leftmost field of the record returned ("tModel","binding template", or "business service").

To Browse all Published WSDLs

  1. Click the Search tab at the top of the console.

  2. Click the WSDL link.

  3. Click the Find all published WSDLs button.

  4. In the record set that is returned, you can click on the links in the business service field to examine how a WSDL has been published as a Service in UDDI. You can also click the link in the WSDL Location field to retrieve a raw XML view of the actual WSDL.
